Several weeks ago I finally added a contributor to Novel Bloggers! Then today, I added another! I'm so excited!
I am in the middle of another book right now, but as soon as I finish and the three of us decide what to read, the Novel Bloggers, "Blogging Book Club" will FINALLY begin!!! So stay tuned!

Dusting off and Beginning Again!

I'm finally getting around to updating this blog to match my other blog's template design. Also, I have finally created a Facebook Page for Novel Bloggers along with a Blog Frog Community and were listed at Picket Fence Blogs (click the button every day to vote!).
With all the new networking opportunities I hope I can get a few contributors! Fun fun!

Dusty and Neglected....

One of these days I will put some more effort into this blog. I still LOVE the idea behind it. Which is to have several contributors to this blog and we all read the same book together at the same time and discuss it here in posts. An Online Blogging Book Club. I have yet to find anyone who wants to contribute, not that I have put any effort into that in a while. If you are interested please let me know via comment or email.

The New Look of Novel Bloggers!

What do you think of the background of this blog? I designed it! Using pictures I took of my book shelf. If you look closely you can see some of my favorite books and authors! Such as, V.C. Andrews (You can only see about half of the many novels of hers I have), J.K. Rowling (I am a big Harry Potter fan), C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia), Stephanie Meyer. The Twilight book is missing from the "Saga" stack, its on my night stand instead of the book shelf. I also have the "Traveling Pants" Trilogy that I have yet to read. Also one of my long time favorite reads is "The Diary of Ann Frank". I did a lot of acting in High School so there is also a stack of plays and monologues. And of course a few poetry books.

I am in search of people to "Join the book club" We will choose a book to read. Then read one chapter a week (or more) and then we can all write our own individual post about our thoughts on the chapters that we read, also comment on each others posts as well (its a blog discussion). You can be a contributor to this blog and write your own posts, or just comment on mine, its up to you.

Only one rule, if you read ahead, don't spoil it for the rest of us.

I still love my idea for this blog and one of these days I plan to get it up and running. But with the recent move and all the other chaos I have barley had time to keep up with my other blog. Sorry, fell off the planet...

I know, have not posted in quite a while. I have been unable to pick up The Historian and read more. Unfortunately I have to put that down for now because there is another book captivating me right now. Which I know many have already read and I am a little late on the bandwagon.

Twilight - Now a major motion picture!

I unfortunately had not heard of the book until I saw the previews for the movie and then discovered the books. I love to read but I am usually out of the loop when it comes to whats on the best seller list and what book everyone is reading.
It was the same with the Harry Potter books. I saw the first two movies, then read the 3rd book just in time before that movie came out. I have since read all the books twice, I am a huge Harry Potter Fan! I cant wait to see the rest of the movies.

So, I have already begun reading Twilight and I am totally hooked and will be reading all the books and posting about them, so stay tuned!
