I finally finished reading "The Time Traveler's Wife"

Warning: This post contains Spoilers of the book.
I loved it, wonderful book!

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
This is totally a book I can relate to, always having to wait for the love of your life to return to you.
So sad that he died, why did he have to die... It made me cry. And it seems their daughter will be able to control her time traveling more so than Henry could. Awesome book, I cant wait to see the movie now!!!

Who is your all time favorite author?

Mine is V.C. Andrews, I read "Flowers in the Attic" in High School and I was hooked.

PhotobucketMy profile looks quite pathetic because I have no followers. So, if your on Twitter come follow me!!

The New Look of Novel Bloggers!

What do you think of the background of this blog? I designed it! Using pictures I took of my book shelf. If you look closely you can see some of my favorite books and authors! Such as, V.C. Andrews (You can only see about half of the many novels of hers I have), J.K. Rowling (I am a big Harry Potter fan), C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia), Stephanie Meyer. The Twilight book is missing from the "Saga" stack, its on my night stand instead of the book shelf. I also have the "Traveling Pants" Trilogy that I have yet to read. Also one of my long time favorite reads is "The Diary of Ann Frank". I did a lot of acting in High School so there is also a stack of plays and monologues. And of course a few poetry books.

I'm Currently Reading

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I have not gotten very far in the book yet, there not even married, but so far I totally love it! Being married to a Marine who deploys a lot, its a love story that I can totally relate to.

I admit, I had not heard of the book until the movie came out which I plan to see After I finish the book. I love the lead actress in it who plays Clare, Rachel McAdams who was also the lead in another book movie combo that I loved, The Notebook (which I read and posted about here on Novel Bloggers)!

Join my Online Book Club (its free:) and be a contributor to this blog!
I enjoy reading and would love to be able to read a book and then discuss it with others who are reading along with me.

I am in search of people to "Join the book club" We will choose a book to read. Then read one chapter a week (or more) and then we can all write our own individual post about our thoughts on the chapters that we read, also comment on each others posts as well (its a blog discussion). You can be a contributor to this blog and write your own posts, or just comment on mine, its up to you.

Only one rule, if you read ahead, don't spoil it for the rest of us.
If your interested leave a comment or email me at MrsMarine79[at] to join my online book club. Tell me your contact info and a book you would like to read. It can be a book you have never read or one you have read 200 times, doesn't matter, as long as you follow the rule. :)

We could do movie reviews as well!

I am neglecting this blog...

I still love my idea for this blog and one of these days I plan to get it up and running. But with the recent move and all the other chaos I have barley had time to keep up with my other blog. If you would like to participate with this blog when the time comes please email me at and I will let you know when I am ready to move forward.

Twilight - UPDATE

I have completely neglected this blog for a while now.
I did read all 4 Twilight books. In fact I became completely obsessed with reading them. I read them very fast. Faster than I usually read. I LOVED them!
I am reading THE HOST by Stephenie Meyer right now. And I am already half way through it. I may get around to posting about it on here. Eventually I plan to re-read the Twilight books and post about every chapter in my usual fashion. But I will be moving in the next few months and may not get around to it for a while.
Until then, don't forget me.
